The birds are chirping, swimsuits have hit the shelves, and the sun is shining. This can only mean one thing, Spring and Summer are upon us once again. I must admit I’m not the most thrilled about this but what can I do but continue to dream of moving to a gloomy, rainy town on the East coast. Since the sun insists on shining I was definitely in need of some new sunglasses!
If you haven’t seen the classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s then you are missing out big time! Audrey Hepburn is a classic beauty that plays an eccentric girl names Holly Golightly. I am obsessed with the movie and when I found out about the book I was so excited to read it. Now, this is one of those situations where I think it is better to watch the movie and THEN read the book.
12 Days of Blogmas
Isn’t this the best time of year to curl up on the couch and read a good book? I absolutely love the cold weather, I can’t wait until one day I’ll have a house with a nice window seat so I can watch the rain pouring outside the window and cozy up with my books. This Christmas I am supporting some of my new favorite up and coming authors who’s books you should buy for that special bookworm in your life!
Missing sister, Ewan, Heartbreak, Jason, Car Accident, Heartbreak, Dexter, Heartbreak Again, Greg, & then what? It’s one week before the wedding day and the past walks right into that bar and back into Izzy’s life. Izzy certainly goes through quite the timeline in her life thats for sure. This amazing thrill ride of emotions is brought to you by none other than England’s own Sarah Louise Smith.
Here’s a title that will grab your attention! What could it be about? How did she lose the leg? If you are a reader who can’t get enough of cozy chick lit books then this is perfect for you! This is the type of book I like to get all cozy and read on a cold rainy day. It’s a quick read with ALL of those ‘You Couldn’t Make It Up’ moments that every one will understand whether they know someone who has gone through it or they are that someone. Get cozy and get reading!
I ALWAYS over pack! I’ve only been on a plane once before in my life and it was only about an hour long flight. Since this flight is going to be 4 hours long I have been doing some serious preparation for what I should bring, what kind of clothes should I plan to take and so forth. I’m a very nervous flyer so making sure I haven’t forgotten anything is huge otherwise I will literally panic the entire time. Last time I forgot my phone…don’t even get me started on how that went down.
One of the most amazing women in the world has made more than just television history. She has made headlines all across the globe even after her passing. She set the bar for women who wanted to try a hand at comedy. She even made curly red hair an iconic look. She was an extraordinary person and I am proud to say she is one of my major role models, Lucille Ball.
I can’t get over this book! I’ve moved on to two other books since reading it and each time I start reading I think I’m still reading a book about a girl in a small village and her van full of books. I just didn’t want the story to end!
I LOVED THIS BOOK AND THE BOOK BEFORE IT!!! Agnes Martin-Lugand is just an amazing author and last year I fell in love with her book Happy People Read and Drink Coffee. I even wrote a book review on it last year so if you’d like to head on over check it and click here. This is going to be another hard book review to write because I get way too excited and I just want to talk about every bit of the book but I can’t spoil it for you!
Definitely a must read! I couldn’t put this book down because of how hilarious and fun this book was. It captivates the reader and keeps the reader focused on each character by splitting the stories every other chapter. This would be a great book for everyone especially young adults.
