I work in the meat department as a meat cutter and people sure do get sore about finding that perfect turkey or that 8 Rib Standing Roast that doesn’t exist. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many people I have had to explain that one too.

Hello Blogmas readers!! To be honest this was a long shot for me and the fact that it came out somewhat successful shocked me. I am so impatient with things like this and even though I may have kind of burned them I am ready for round two at least.

Everyone knows that when it comes to your best friends birthday it is quite a big deal. To top that off it was also my best friends 21st birthday which makes it out to be an even bigger celebration. My best friend, Esther, and I not only look a lot a like but our birthdays are only 20 days apart. I, myself just turned 21 on November 1st and her birthday is November 21st. Since I live on my own I decided to go all out and plan a birthday to remember for her and began to decorate. Continue reading “21st Birthday Celebration”
Well, its officially the Holiday season for me. So much so that I am even busting out a Christmas time recipe. I love Christmas!!! I have always been a fan of the classic soft and moist Madeline cookie but why not change it up every now and then. I always past the Madeline cookie pans in the baking section and thought they made very pretty cookies but never thought of making them myself until I thought of these possibilities. This is my first time working with puff pastry so bare with me. I saw this recipe for a Double Chocolate and Fruit Breakfast Pastry on my twitter feed and I was dying to try it because of how delicious it looked. I will even leave a link at the bottom directing you to where I found it if you prefer to see the original. This is most certainly not the healthiest breakfast item but it is certainly worth trying on a cheat day. Continue reading “Chocolate & Fruit Breakfast Pastry”
