12 Days of Blogmas
There is just no Christmas without some holiday baking sessions! Every year I love making those white chocolate dipped molasses cookies and I’m certainly not going to stop now! I’ve added a few new items to my baking list this year and I must say, my sweet tooth is loving it!
Lets start with some fudge! Every year growing up my mom always makes her famous fudge and boy is it delicious. I wish I could eat an entire tray full but it’s so rich I can barely get through one square haha. I thought I would try my hand at this so I went to my handy dandy Pinterest app and found some yummy options! I started by getting a basic recipe and then started on my plan of attack. TO THE KITCHEN WE GO! The first batch was just a Cookies ‘n’ Cream recipe I saw and after it passed my taste testing is when s**t hit the stove top. The options can just go on and on depending on what you like. I wanted to make it look like Christmas threw up all over it….Sorry to all the weak stomachs out there. I completely forgot to take photos when i made them…some blogger I am haha I’ll be remaking them this week though and don’t worry, pictures will be coming shortly!
The fudge recipe I have been using is very simple and easily changeable if you want to try different flavors…
- 1 cup Marshmallow Fluff
- 1 Box Dry Cheesecake Pudding Mix
- 3 cups White Chocolate Chips
- 1 1/2 cups Crushed Oreos
- 1 14oz. Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- In a medium sized pan, heat the can of condensed milk and white chocolate chips until completely melted and smooth.
- Mix in the box of dry cheesecake pudding mix along with marshmallow fluff.
- Remove from heat and fold in the crushed Oreos until evenly spread throughout the mixture.
- Pour the fudge mixture into a greased 8×8 pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until hardened.
It’s really that easy and takes maybe 10 minutes to create. I decided to throw some crushed peppermint in mine so give it a peppermint bark taste which by the way is another holiday must have for sweets! William’s Sonoma and World Market always have the best ones in a tin container. Next to advent calendar chocolates those are my favorite.
Like I said I can’t go without making those molasses cookies so here they are! Until I find a different cookie that looks even prettier than these then I will continue to make these as my Christmas tradition. They are certainly a crowd pleaser just by the simple, but beautiful presentation of them.

I will admit that the mixing does get tiring but since my mom got me my amazing Kitchenaid mixer that is no problem AT ALL! Boy do I love my mixer!!! *Foreshadow of an upcoming post*
