Dry Bar

Forever looking for the perfect hair cocktail? Ever since I was about 18 years old when I actually really started caring about my hair and not using heat products on my hair I have always had trouble with finding the perfect shampoo and conditioner. I love the Coconut Water shampoo and conditioner I had been using for the longest time but it never made my hair perfectly smooth and shiny.

After basically giving up on the search for perfect hair care I stumbled upon the amazing Dry Bar section that I always neglected to look at in Sephora. I’ve always been pretty good about spending a little extra on makeup and stuff because I was looking for better products to put on my skin and same with my face washes. I never spent the extra dollar on my hair though. Luckily Sephora gives free samples for pretty much any product so went for the On The Rocks charcoal shampoo and the Sake Bomb shampoo and I absolutely fell in love just while scrubbing the bubbles into my hair!

Sake Bomb

Even while rinsing the Sake Bomb felt absolutely amazing on my scalp and my hair felt so light and smooth like butter. Once my hair dried completely I couldn’t believe how great my hair felt and looked. You know how great your hair feels after a hair cut and the hair dresser has washed your hair? Thats how great it felt! I couldn’t imagine how wonderful it would feel to have the conditioner as well. I’ve also always struggled with little baby hairs that just fly away and never stay in an organized fashion. NOT ANYMORE!!! They stay down and in place and its wonderful!

I highly recommend the Sake Bomb shampoo and conditioner, its the one I bought in the end and I will probably buy it again and again and again haha There is no going back to my cheap shampoos now. I also have decently oily hair, at least after 2 days of not washing, and about medium thickness to my hair and it breaks very easily so if you have the same hair type then this stuff is perfect for you.

On The Rocks

So this is the charcoal shampoo that I tried and I loved this one as well but since it is a charcoal shampoo you are only supposed to use it maybe once or twice a week otherwise it could really dry out your hair. Which with my hair type would probably cause a lot of breakage and I tend to wash my hair about 3 or four times a week so I didn’t want to risk it. It did feel very nice and refreshing so I will probably use this one every few weeks just as like a hair spa treatment. I do however recommend this one to people who might use dry shampoo a lot, for me I don’t like the way my hair feels when using them though. This shampoo alone will definitely clean every bit of dry shampoo out of your hair with out a doubt. On the plus side, after using this one I didn’t have to wash my hair for about three days because it really strips out all of the oils.

I am definitely interested in trying more Dry Bar products so if any of you have a recommendation please let me know! I love everything about these products so far and its even better that they have adorable packaging that looks great sitting in my shower haha Gotta love great packaging!

I hope you enjoyed this review and I look forward to hearing what you guys think of these products as well. Have a great week everyone!
